Christmas Carol Sing

On the last Sunday before Christmas, Upper Providence Meetinghouse hosts a Carol Sing at 7pm. The Meetinghouse is very rustic, there is no electricity or running water. A wood stove heats the area while carolers belt out familiar carols. Everyone uses flashlights or their cell phones to follow along with the director's enthusiastic guidance. We sing jingle bells, rounds of King Wenceslas, Silent Night and many more.

After about 40 minutes of rousing chorus, we observe a few moments of silence. Then everyone is invited to partake of donuts, hot cider and hot chocolate and exchange fellowship with one another.
